Throat Chakra Practice for the Full Moon

This is an opportunity to ground, reflect, and create intention during the transition of moon cycles, change in seasons and personal shifts in our own lives.

There will be a focus on opening the throat chakra through yoga movement and vedic chanting. The Throat chakra portal is the gateway to our truth and clarity. The session will open up with restorative yoga movement, opening the neck and shoulders followed by vedic chanting.

Vedic chanting is another form of practice within yoga that opens our spirit and voice in a very powerful way. This will be an exchange through call and response in Sanskrit (ancient hindu language).

Participants will learn Chandranamaskrtya" (Osadhaya) which is a healing mantra dedicated to the moon. This practice improves memory, works to extend the breath fully, softens the nervous system and anyone can participate.

Style of Practice will be an open level Vinyasa flow. All are welcome. I will offer hands on alignment and modifications followed by a soothing mini neck massage in savasana.
